چکیده
India is one of the richest known in terms biodiversity, especially northern Jammu and Kashmir beautiful geographical regions world hub medicinal plants. Two plants namely Glycyrrhiza glabra L. Malwa sylvestris were selected for study. The aim this research was to investigate presence preliminary phytochemicals determine total flavonoid phenolic content. Isolation phytoconstituents analyzed through GC-MS. solvent used methanol organic extraction Soxhlet apparatus used. extract then separated by GC-MS Shimadzu (2010) model. Preliminary phytochemical screening methanolic leaves extracts G. M. carried out using standard methods which showed alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, steroids, tannins, carbohydrates, proteins, phenols anthraquinones respectively. Total content derived 15.5mg/gm, 16.2mg/gm, 13.6mg/gm, 18.3gm/gm, 14.4mg/gm 24.3mg/gm, 19.5mg/gm, 21.3mg/gm 10.2mg/gm, 23.4mg/gm, 18.5mg/gm, 19.3mg/gm, 19.8mg/gm, 22.4mg/gm, 25.6mg/gm, 16.2mg/gm analysis forty two chemicals compounds from there some major noticed both provided evidence that these contain medicinally important bioactive can be traditionally treatment different kinds fungal bacterial diseases.
